“I, Alexander Foster, am setting out on a trek from the easternmost town in the continental US (Lubec, Maine) to the westernmost town (Cape Alava, Washington) starting in May of 2012, on a self-built solar powered trike. During this trek I will be stopping and interviewing notable scientists, academics, social activists, and every day people from our communities for an upcoming documentary I will be filming about climate change, social change – and changing our world.
I am riding for a great many things, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Agriculture, Love, Equality, Democracy, Revolution, and I am riding against many things; Fossil Fuels, Corporate Governance, a Corrupt Government, Nuclear Energy, Tar Sands, Poverty, Pollution, the 1%, an invalid Economy.. War.
If you would like to join me along this trek, and ride for a cause, there is 6,000 miles to do so. This world is changing fast, so too must our perceptions on what is true and good in a world that has been so overtaken by the bad. Join me if you like, in the cities and towns that I pass through, on bikes, skateboards, roller blades, or solar trikes, stay through the whole Trek if you like, but no matter what you choose to do, choose to change the world.”
